what are your views on abortion? i'm pro-choice for a bunch of reasons that i don't feel like typing or posting right now, but i will later...so let the debate begin!!

Im pro-choice...cause for one thing, i hate kids...for another thing that fetus could become the cure for a terrible desiease...and if the woman doesnt want it then she probably will never want it..causing the child a terrible life...or another kid goes unadopeted in an orphanage..causing a crappy life again,...also if the woman got raped...or if its a girl whos too young to have a baby...and they dont want it,,..and cause it wouldnt be healthy for them to have a baby...

Choice duh. At a christian youth group that I attend every so often, we had a guest speaker to talk about the matter, a friend of mine had a very heated debate with this woman, and by the end of the night, we were all called devil worshipers and said to treat abortion as a recreational tool or something.... It was pretty fun overall  |

well this isn't that much of a debate, is it? we're all basically pro choice...but i'll still post my reasons -abortion is safer than -teens are actually 24x more likely to die from childbirth than having an abortion- -a kid has the right to be a wanted child, why would you bring an innocent kid into this messed up world if you're not going to love him/her and PROPERLY take care of him/her? -no one has the right to force a woman to be pregnant or force morals onto her that she doesn't believe in -if they take away a woman's right to her own body they might as well force all of us to wear a little pink dress since they obviously don't think we're responsible or smart enough to make our own decisions -if abortion becomes illegal it would include incest and rape too, i mean serioulsy if i became pregnat after being raped i wouldn't even be able to look at the kid without hating him/her even if it's not their fault, and it would 10000x worse if it was incest -illegal abortion=back alley abortions! do we really want girls to get abortions illegally and unsafely by who-knows-whom in who-knows-where? -an unwanted child is most likely not going to be a happy child, unhappy kids will grow up and become a burden on this thing we call society, some may grow up and become great motivational speakers and blah blah but go to any state prison and see how many of the inmates were unwanted children, the numbers don't lie -abortion reduces the number of abused children -probably the least humane argument but yeah overpopulation is real and happening right now i can't think of all the other reasons right now but if i do i'll post them later  |

I just want to bring this into here since we have already started a debate about this....
Shara Pailn is not prochoice, in the interview with Katie Coric (However the hell you spell her name)...Katie asked her how she felt about abortions. She says that she chooses life.
Katie says ok so in the seniaro of a 12 year old girl being raped by her father you think an abortion should be illegal?
Shara Pailn says I would council her to choose life.
Shes so dumb...now I dont know if this is true...but on the Daily Show they said that in Pailns town in Alaska she had people pay for being raped or something...I will go look up if i can to see what this is about...

wow that just makes me love her even more than i did before!! *insert sarcasm here* i knew about her being against abortion because we talked about her in my POD class a few days ago (mrs. thompson loves palin as much as i do) but i hadn't heard about the rape issue, that's just wrong it's like someone breaking into your house and stealing everything you have and then having to pay the freaking police to even make a report, well actually it's 100000x worse than that...i wish i could vote already!!
