My Band is better then your band

Franz Ferdinand is better then MCR or The Smiths because they are ART ROCK!!!! Their music videos are inspiering and Alex Kapranos voice is sexxy as hell and smooth as slick!

Nick McCarthy is awesome at playing guitar or doing backing vocals he also sometimes will play the piano. Alex found him stealing his vodka when they were in art school together and asked him if he could play drums. He lied and said he could so Alex wouldnt kill him! Alex met Bob at cooking school and asked if he would like to play in his band which would be a movement of music for girls to dance to, since he felt at the time, and still does that there is no good dance music out there...Eventually they ran into Paul the crazy german!!! An that's their story!

Like your bands have better stories!!!!

i can answer to this with three simple words: Morrisey and Marr
but you guys might not know the importance of those words so i'll explain it a bit just for the sake of it...

Morrisey and Marr are amazingly brilliant songwriters on they're own, put them together and what do you get? not much really, only THE greatest band ever!!

the independent said this about Morrisey "most pop stars have to be dead before they reach the iconic status that he has reached in his lifetime."...i really doubt the independent goes around saying such things about every little singer that they think is decent, so yeah The Smiths rule!!

Marr was the guitarist for The Smiths and he was absolutely amazing at it... i honestly don't think they would have gotten anywhere without him, no matter how brilliant Morrisey was...

The Smiths are one of the most influential alternative rock bands out of england (or anywhere else really) so yeah they have influenced a gazillion of what you might call 'good' bands, so even thought they broke up in 1987 before any of us was born their music is still living through them... and through weird hardcore fans like dear ol' me

and i guess i should say that even thought they're considered alternative/pop they are NOT like the crappy alternative and pop that you hear today, their songs actually say something, they REALLY say something...

oh an Morrisey is a vegetarian and an activist for animal rights!! AND he has been an activist since 1985, waaay before being a vegetarian/vegan was considered 'cool' so yay for him!!

Well, Franz Ferdinand almost broke up...I have no idea why!

But they didn't. Durring that time they were apart of a movement of helping kids learn to read. An they have done lots of benift concerts for that sort of thing too!

Also they are not disscrimatatory! They played at a rappers birthday party! Lots of rappers like them.

Also, Bob Hardy can play bass like no bodies bussiness. Paul rocks at the drums!

An eventhough Nick McCarthy is married to a drunk bitch! He still finds time to talk to his fans in screart chats that I have not been able to find before they are archived! >_<

Plus they are still a live!
